Lemon Villa is a beautifully presented 3 bed / 2 bath property situated on a very private plot and close to the sandy beaches of Almyrida and Georgioupolis. The surrounding area is one of natural beauty so this villa boasts spectacular views, including fabulous sea views towards Octopus Bay. Located off a short track from a main tarmac road which leads to the bay; a wonderful spot for snorkelling in the turquoise waters.
Tavernas and small shops can be found a short drive away in the nearby villages of Drapanos and Kefalas.
Internally, the villa is decorated in a modern, contemporary style providing a light and airy feel which blends perfectly with the pale stone walls. Externally, spacious balconies and terraces provide plenty of opportunity to soak in the wonderful views surrounding the villa and guests can enjoy plenty of privacy due to it's almost secluded location.
Six steps lead up to the main entrance and into the open plan living/dining/kitchen area that welcomes you. Although open plan, the lounge and kitchen/dining areas are separate 'zones' allowing the users their own space. The cosy lounge has two comfortable sofas and a chair positioned sociably around the coffee table, woodburner and facing the large flat screen TV and TV unit which provides full entertainment for all your needs. Doors open out on to a shady terrace with a swing egg chair; a lovely place to sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
In the kitchen/dining area there is a square table with chairs to seat 6 and adjacent to the comprehensively equipped (see amenities list) L-shaped kitchen with plenty of preparation and worktop space for the keen cook.
Situated to the rear of the living area with its own doors to the garden and pool terrace, is one of the air-conditioned double bedrooms, comfortably furnished with a double bed, fitted wardrobes, drawers, bedside tables, dressing table and mirror.
Completing the ground floor accommodation and conveniently positioned next to the bedroom is the family bathroom with bath and shower over, wc and wash basin.
The staircase (with safety handrail) is to the rear of the kitchen/dining area and leads to a further two bedrooms and a shower room on the first floor (see below). Under the stairs is some handy storage space where some laundry equipment is kept for guests to use during their stay.
Two comfortable and well appointed air-conditioned bedrooms, one double and one twin, are located on the first floor and share the family bathroom - ideally positioned between the two rooms. Both bedrooms are furnished the same as the ground floor bedroom and open out on to a large balcony; a great place to appreciate the fantastic views to the pool and garden area and the magnificant vista beyond. There is an extendable dining table and 4 chairs, a large L-shaped sofa and a wooden sunbed with a padded cushion; the perfect place to relax at any time of day.
The villa is on a secure stone walled and gated plot with parking for at least a couple of cars.
In the well planted garden the private pool takes centre stage with roman steps making access very easy; a perfect choice for young families and guests with mobility issues. There are plenty of places to sit outside at this villa whether it's sun or shade that is required and the pool can be in view at all times if desired.
By the main door to the villa is a large covered terrace furnished with an oval, wooden table and bench seating; conveniently placed for al fresco dining from either culinary delights from the BBQ or meals made from local produce prepared in the spacious kitchen. Due to its elevated position, this terrace is also a great place to keep an eye on all the fun and activity in the swimming pool.
Adjacent to the spacious pool terrace is a large, raised covered area furnished with wooden sunbeds and padded cushions for added comfort, a small bistro table and 2 chairs. To the rear, under a separate pergola, is a hammock positioned in a quiet shady spot for when a little time out of the hot summer sun is required or perhaps an afternoon nap. Wherever you choose to relax at this villa those glorious sea and countryside views are never far away.
Exterior garden lighting creates a soft ambience for those who enjoy sitting outside on those warm summer evenings.
This villa offers a superb location for those who want peace and quiet with access to local amenities only a short drive away.

Prices quoted are in gbp sterling, per week, for up to 6 people occupying the villa and are not per person.
Alternative length of stays of more than 7 nights are accepted and are charged pro rata.
Prices include air- conditioning, a welcome pack, all linen/towels including beach/pool towels and maid service and linen/towel change.
Maid service with linen/towel change** - 1 week stays - end of let clean and 2 week stays - at the end of week 1 + end of let clean. For stays that do not fall into a 7 or 14 night pattern eg; 10 nights this service will be provided mid-stay ie; approx after 5 nights.
**except beach/pool towels which are only changed at the end of let however they can be washed using the laundry facilities in the villa during your stay.

Low Occupancy Discounts
A low occupancy discount for single couples (use of 1 bedroom), of 15%, is available at this villa except for July and August dates.
Not allowed on late availability or special offer prices.
If you are a returning client and this is your 3rd (or more) consecutive booking with Crete Escapes or your 2nd separate booking in one season, you will qualify for our loyalty discount. Please quote voucher code LOYALTY2.5 when asked to do so during the online booking process or let us know when you contact us. Your reduction of 2.5% will then be deducted from the total price.
Short breaks are normally only available for a minimum of 5 nights and will be charged at the 7 nightly rate unless otherwise advertised. However, if the number of available days between existing bookings is less than 7 nights we may be able to accept bookings at a reduced rate subject to the owners agreement.
Short breaks are allowed within 3 days of arrival.
Change-over days are totally flexible but are subject to existing bookings taken either side. If a booking means that the owner would be left with too many "void" days we might not be able to accept it. If this is the case we will contact you without delay to discuss alternatives.
Payment can be made by bank transfer to our sterling account or by debit or credit card (Mastercard or Visa) only.

Low occupancy discounts - unfortunately the online booking system automatically calculates the single couple discount based on the number of people entered onto the booking form and the start day of your rental. There are 2 problems with this:-
a) If you are 2 people but not a couple the system will have automatically calculated a discount when it is not due. Please make use of the "additional notes" box on the booking form to tell us and we will adjust the price accordingly before we confirm your booking.
b) If your rental overlaps from a discounted period to a non-discounted one (or vice versa), the discount calculated will be wrong. In these cases we have to make the adjustment manually. You can still book on-line but we will need to change the price on receipt of your booking request. If the price increases we will contact you to confirm the new price before we confirm your booking and take your deposit.
Please don't let either of these issues put you off making a booking. The discounts are genuine and our villa owners welcome couples and smaller parties out of high season. We just can't fine tune the booking system to account for these 2 circumstances - sorry.

After a break of 20 years since mine and Karen’s last visit to Crete, we were not disappionted. Our stay was joyous. The villa and surrounding were beautiful, the people friendly and as warm as we remembered, the taverna & food superb and of course the weather was to die for!! - June 2022.
Yet another glorious week in paradise. As always we did no exploring. We walked a grand total 100 meters the entire week, as it’s just too lovely here - August 2021.
