FAQ's - Arrival and Departure

I have an early flight - can I arrive before 4pm?

It all depends on whether the villa is occupied immediately before your arrival or not. If it isn't then it's likely the villa will have been prepared for you the day before your arrival and will therefore be ready for you. However, if the villa is occupied, and there are guests leaving on the day you arrive then the villa will have to be fully cleaned and prepared for you and in those circumstances we cannot guarantee it will be ready for you until 16.00. You may wish to speak to the property manager once you arrive in Crete to see if the villa has already been prepared for you or to give you an approximate time when the villa will be ready.

Can I arrive at the villa before 4pm to drop off luggage?

There is never any objection to you doing this providing you don't expect the villa to be fully ready for you before 16.00 (see above). Please note: departing guests must have vacated and all belongings are left at your own risk.

I've got a late flight home - can I stay on at the villa after 10am?

It all depends on whether the villa is occupied immediately after you or not. If it isn't then it's likely you will be able to stay on at the villa (some property managers may charge and if this is the case, it will be payable to them locally in Crete) until it's time to leave for the airport. However, if the villa is occupied, and there are guests arriving on the day you leave, we will have to ask you to be prepared to leave at 10.00. You will need to speak to the property manager, whilst you're in Crete, to see if they can let you stay on after that.

Can you give me an address for the villa?

Usually no, outside of the main towns in this part of Crete there are no street names so an address is not possible. We will send you detailed directions to the villa together with a screen shot from Google earth to help you find your way.

Where will I find the keys on arrival?

Keys will always be left out for you. More often than not they will be in a key safe near to the main entrance to the property. We will tell you exactly where to find the keys when we send you the directions to the villa, approximately 14 days before arrival.
