Prices are from £700 to £1345 gbp per week. 10/11 day stays are accepted and are charged pro rata.

Change-over days are Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday to fit in with the majority of direct flights from the UK to both Chania and Heraklion airports - see our flights page.

Prices quoted are in gbp sterling, per week, for up to 6 people occupying the villa and are not per person. Prices include air- conditioning, all linen including beach and pool towels and a welcome pack. Maid service and linen changes are weekly for 1 week stays and every 4 or 5 days for 2 week stays. There are NO hidden extras.

Amenities - Villa Almyros

Villa Almyros is located in a beautiful position 0.5km from the ancient village of Kefalas where you will find tavernas and local shops providing for your every day needs. The villa has panoramic views across Almyros Bay towards Rethymnon and the mountains beyond. Although traditionally styled with thick stone walls and timber beamed ceilings, the villa is equipped with modern amenities  and the owners have created a luxury villa for their guests to stay in, relax and enjoy this peaceful corner of Crete.

The villa is air-conditioned throughout. It has been thoughtfully designed and planned  with a large first floor balcony/terrace accessible from both 1st floor bedrooms as well as the landing. This is a great spot for dining, soaking up the sun or simply taking in the outstanding sea views.

The living areas on the ground floor are open plan with a fully equipped kitchen (see amenities list) / diner with table and six chairs and a very comfortably furnished lounge with 2 sofas (one which converts into a double sofa bed if required). For your entertainment there is a TV with satellite reception (not Sky), DVD player, CD player/radio and i pod docking station. A selection of discs are provided (including some for the children) as well as a range of books. Internet access and Skype telephone are connected and available for guests' use.

Completing the ground floor accommodation is one of the two twin rooms and an adjacent shower room. This ground floor bedroom has direct access to a covered, furnished terrace with views to the colourful garden in one direction and the pool in another, this terrace is an ideal place to sit and relax out of the heat of the sun.

On the 1st floor there is a double bedroom, the other twin room and a bathroom, both bedrooms and the landing area have direct access to the large, furnished terrace that runs the whole length of the villa.

There are fantastic views of the sea from the pool, the sun bathing terraces and most elevations at this villa. At night the pool area can be lit, it's an unforgettable experience to sit on one of the terraces gazing at the night sky and the lights of Rethymnon in the far distance.

The garden, although newly planted with fruit, olives, mulberry, palm and conifer trees is quickly becoming established. The boundary walls are already covered in bougainvillea, honeysuckle and roses.
