Just a quick note to say what a wonderful relaxing holdiay we had at Villa Avye. The villa was perfect and we miss the views so much. We could have stayed for at least another couple of weeks!!.Everything was as described and Georgioupolis was just exactly as we wished, not a busy busy place but with just enough buzz about it to still retain its Cretan flavour. We would love to go back to Crete sometime in the future maybe in April or May so we may be in touch again – July 2007.

Great Villa,fantastic views, everything there we could want.  Party ages ranged from 85 to 19 and all seemed content. Georgioupolis is very pleasant and although we don’t have small kids  - its great for them too with a safe sandy beach.  We drove a bit further for the snorkelling as sand isn’t really our thing. We have never been to this area of Crete before and although it is touristy, it has charm and we found that it was a good starting point for further exploration. Plenty of good tavernas too and we even found that Titos made an attempt at a sort of club for the university students in our party who like things livelier than us JJ – Aug 2006.
