Prices are from £700 to £1345 gbp per week. 10/11 day stays are accepted and are charged pro rata.

Change-over days are Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday to fit in with the majority of direct flights from the UK to both Chania and Heraklion airports - see our flights page.

Prices quoted are in gbp sterling, per week, for up to 7 people occupying the villa and are not per person. Prices include air- conditioning, all linen including beach and pool towels, a welcome pack and twice weekly maid service and linen change(usually Tuesdays and Fridays). There are NO hidden extras.

General Description

Villa Sophie is located within walking distance of the village of Kokkino Chorio. There are splendid sea views to the front of the villa and generous gardens. This villa would be a good choice for families with young children as there can be restricted access to the swimming pool terrace. The internal layout will also appeal to couples or a larger family holidaying together due to the position of bedrooms and bathrooms - see detailed description below.

Villa Sophie has been built and furnished in a traditional style but offers up to the minute fittings and equipment. In keeping with its luxury status, the villa is air-conditioned and well maintained throughout.

As well as the working fireplace, the property is centrally heated which makes it a good choice for early or late season holidays when some heating may be required if the evenings are chilly.

Ground Floor

Open plan living and dining area with a smart, well equipped kitchen off to one side - see amenities list below for full details of kitchen equipment. Two sets of french doors open up to a spacious terrace overlooking the pool and gardens with sea views across Souda Bay. This ground floor terrace has a gate for those clients who would like to restrict access to the swimming pool. 

To the rear of the ground floor is one of the comfortable double bedrooms (double bed) with the family bathroom (bath, shower, wc and washbasin)adjacent to it. Guests using this room have their own private balcony with a table and chairs.

For your entertainment there is a TV with satellite reception (not SKY), DVD player, CD player, radio & playstation. DVD’s, CD’s, books and games are provided. One of the sofas will convert to a sofa bed for one. (A z bed is also available but note the maximim number allowed at the villa is 7)

First Floor

Leading off from a sizeable landing there are two further comfortably furnished bedrooms (one x double and one x twin) with a large shower room (large shower, wc and washbasin) conveniently situated between them. The double bedroom has a private balcony with a table and chairs whilst the twin room has easy access to the large verandah that runs along the whole of one side of the villa. This furnished and part shaded terrace is a wonderful place to sunbathe privately or relax during the day and for drinks or dining al fresco in the evenings.

All bedrooms have plenty of storage with wardrobes and drawer storage space, bedside cabinets, bedside lights and hairdryers.

External Areas

Villa Sophie stands in a private plot of 1,000m2 (approximately 1/4 of an acre) on the outskirts of the village of Kokkino Chorio, only 10 minutes walk to the local taverna and shop. The villa has far reaching views over the village to the White Mountains and across Souda Bay to the Akrotiri peninsula.

The private 50m2 pool is surrounded by sunbathing terraces with sun loungers, umbrellas and small tables for drinks etc. The other external spaces are well furnished with outdoor tables and chairs for al fresco dining. Part of the garden has been planted with aromatic herbs which the cook is welcome to use.

There is a BBQ situated on the front terrace so that the cook can also enjoy the sea views and glorious sunsets. At night the exterior is well lit so that you can enjoy relaxing evenings around the villa.

The villa and its grounds are within a walled and gated plot with private parking for at least 2 cars.
