Prices are from £795 to £1195 gbp per week. 10/11 day stays are accepted and are charged pro rata.

Change-over days are Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday to fit in with the majority of direct flights from the UK to both Chania and Heraklion airports - see our flights page.

Prices quoted are for up to 4 people occupying the villa and are not per person. Prices include air- conditioning, all linen except for beach and pool towels, a welcome pack and twice weekly maid service and linen change. There are NO hidden extras.

Amenities - Villa Maria

Villa Maria is one of 2 recently built stone villas located in the traditional village of Alikambos, approximately 40 kms from Chania and 30 from Rethymnon. Although the villa is next door to Villa Manolis, the two have been built in such a way as to ensure your privacy and we would recommend either villa as a romantic bolt hole for 2. The villas are a stone's throw from the kafenion and shop in the village. The large village of Vrisses is only 3 kms away but note this is a winding road and we estimate the journey time at a minimum of 10 minutes. The road from the villa brings you to the Braoudakis family shop and museum in Vrisses.

Well worth the drive from Vrisses or Georgioupolis. To stay in Alikambos is like entering another world. The mountain views are stunning and these can be enjoyed without even stirring from your sunbed around the pool. In addition, the owners have thoughtfully constructed the villa to provide an exterior shaded sitting area right next to the pool, furnished with wicker sofas, chairs and a table. There is another external shaded area, perfect for al fresco meals.

Inside the villa is light and airy. It is furnished in a modern style in vibrant colours but with a traditional twist. The ground floor area is an open plan space with a fully fitted kitchen (see amenities list), dining area and comfortable lounge seating. For your entertainment there is satellite TV and ADSL internet connection. A cloakroom with wc and wash hand basin completes the ground floor accommodation.

Both of the bedrooms and the fully equipped bathroom are on the first floor. One bedroom has a double bed and the other two singles. The master double bedroom has sliding patio doors on to a private balcony with a table and chairs. There is another balcony off the landing.
